Wolves Crash in their opening match of the season

Wolves crashed in their opening SPL Championship at newly promoted Farnham, going down 7-1 to a very well organised Farnham pitch. All the usual moans…. a pitch which had twice the length than width, 4 players out injured and the old fashioned tactic of giving the opposition limited address instructions, but the boys weren’t on form. At 2-0 down George missed a couple of sitters close to half time which may well have changed the course of the game. Farnham advanced in the second half, leaving Wolves with only a consolation goal from Kieron, and a nasty elbow in the face for Nathaniel, unnecessary really – but the result not in question and an early season breather next week to recover.

Wolves’ man of the match was Seb.

Squad;  Louis and Ben T joint keepers, Nathan, Alfie, Owen, Seb, George, Kieron, Harry, Sam, Nathaniel, Ben A, Joe.
