The last tournament of the summer has seen the Panthers beat Chipstead in the final for the second consecutive year.
Three wins and a draw in the group stages, with 13 excellent goals along the way, saw Panthers top their group with a single goal advantage over Chipstead.
With both Panthers and Chipstead winning their semi-finals an eagerly waited final was to follow once the rain subsided.
As expected, a closely fought contest saw both teams having chances but with two very good goalkeepers on show half-time came with the score still 0-0.
Panthers then scored straight from second half kick-off – the ball knocked forward early for a close range well taken goal.
The rest of the half saw some really excellent defensive play and counter attacking against an Elite team, with the Panthers deservedly holding on for a victory.
